House & Garden - Wheat

Our House & Garden blanket draws inspiration from the traditional Malian craft of bogolanfini, in which expert craftswomen dye handmade cotton fabric with mud to create intricate patterns loaded with symbolism. We riffed on the traditional “house surrounded by flowers” motif, which symbolizes tranquility, integrity, and domesticity.

Following our love of protective symbols (like the manu fica), we have knit our version of the House & Garden into a throw blanket, which we hope brings peace into your home.

Our knit blankets are soft and breathable, yet durable enough to travel from the bed to the park. Curl up with them on the sofa with a good book, or take them with you for a picnic on a nice day. Just throw in the wash when needed.
